Planner/Senior Planner Opportunity

CSJ are currently looking to expand due to ever-increasing workloads and have an exciting opportunity for a new Planner/Senior Planner to join our experienced team in central Bristol.

Our workload is comprised of a varied mix of applications for private developers, the public sector and institutional clients, predominantly based within the South-West but also further afield where necessary.

We are seeking someone with at least two years of experience (ideally MRTPI) within a Development Management role, either in private practice or within the public sector. Your role would include the following key responsibilities:

  • Initial client contact and helping the company manage new enquiries;
  • Provision of advice to clients across all aspects of the planning process;
  • Liaison with expert sub-consultants;
  • Preparation and submission of high-quality planning applications and appeal submissions where necessary;
  • Management of applications through to determination with the Local Planning Authority
