CSJ Planning Consultants have recently been appointed as part of a multi-disciplinary team under the Perfect Circle procurement procedure to provide planning consultancy services for two major housing extensions to South Bristol. The Hartcliffe Campus and Hengrove Park Housing Delivery Initiatives are promoted by Bristol City Council and aim to deliver a significant boost to both market and affordable housing supply. An extensive public consultation exercise is underway which will help to inform the evolving design for the schemes. This will culminate in the submission of Outline Planning Applications for both sites in early 2018. Working closely with the Housing Delivery Team of Bristol City Council, it is the objective of the Project Team to produce an exemplar Master Plan for the sites which will pave the way for the housing to come forward in a phased manner. An important consideration is to promote permeability between the sites and the adjoining areas of South Bristol in order to help integrate and to regenerate the wider area.
